Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (40 CFR) has historically maintained the various Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) program requirements for large and small quantity generators (LQG’s and SQG’s, respectively) in §262.34. The Rule has included sweeping and profound changes within the generator requirements of §262 that include new provisions and a total reorganization of the locations of these standards. Satellite Accumulation Area (SAA) provisions are no longer found in §262.34(c) but have been moved to a newly created §262.15 designated: “Satellite accumulation area regulations for small and large quantity generators.”
